In microsoft word we have the facilty to rearrange our matters in the alphabetical order. SIMILARLY is there any software with the help of which we can rearrange events with dates in chronological order?

Try using Microsoft Excel. Put the dates in Column A and the descriptions in Column B. Press CRTL+A to select all the cells, then go to Data, then Sort. Choose to sort by Column A - Ascending will show the oldest date first, Descending will show the most recent date first.
