Ok My husband and I are TTC. According to my ovulation calendar I started ovulating yesterday (little fertile) today would be (more ferile) and so on until Sat which is ovulation day. According to the web site I'm using it says to only have sex once a day for best results....Ok so my question is if we had sex after midnight and have sex again tonight is that considered twice in one day....Oh I can already tell this is a stupid question and I'm going to get a lot of flack for it....LET ME HAVE IT! LOL

Not a dumb question, but I do think you're splitting hairs unnecessarily. Just have sex when it works for you and don't stress to much over the exact time and date. You're going to hear a lot of variations on the "How often?" question. Some will say every other day, some say to do it as often as you possibly can. If you stress too much over when, you may actually decrease your chances. Just do it when you know you're in the fertile window and enjoy yourself!

I think it is more of a "once in 24 hrs." type thing because the body can actually be unreceptive to sperm. Here's something for you to consider though--make sure you have it the night before you're supposed to ovulate. That gives good timing for the sperm to meet up with an egg higher in the Fallopian tube. As the egg travels down the Fallopian tube, that is less time to conceive. Once it is in the uterus, the time has passed. So, on this one, you all might be just a minute or two late for the bus, if you know what I mean. Try that--having sex right before the "scheduled" ovulation to make sure that the sperm can meet the egg higher in the Fallopian tube. Good luck, I hope you two have a healthy, happy baby!

That is not stupid. Well it depends on how far from midnight you had it . You are suppose to stretch it at least 20 hours apart. So if u had it 2 times in a 12 hour period then yes that is 2 times in one. good luck on baby making
