If you really want something to get your teeth into, try BBC Focus, I'm a 41 year old woman and I've been getting it since the first edition, way before the BBC got involved.
Don't let the fact that I'm double your age and the opposite sex put you off. It's a scientific magazine. It covers science and technology. It has a showcase of some of the latest gadgets every month and it previews games, films, DVDs.
It's subjects might include astronomy, history, geology, physics, commerce ... anything really. In its past it has had a few that might be termed the science of sex but they are very few and far between, especially now it's sold out to the establishment (sorry, had to get that dig in), I still haven't cancelled my subscription though.

It costs three pounds forty pence a month and is well worth it.

ZOO, NUTS or FHM they do have good articles, sport, news and many other interesting things, and lots of jokes submited by readers of the magazine

AMELIA's ! they have music interviews, art, and photography !
I read all the time. I have too read it more than once ! it has a glow in the dark cover ! okay, well, Im a little extreme, but its fantastic !
