If you dog is still nereby this will help ALOT...and for anyone else who is trying to find their pet.

EMPTY YOUR VACUUM CLEANER BAG ON THE FRONT AND BACK PORCH...Nothing smells more like your house and the scent will travel. If your dog is anywhere nearby he will smell it. Hope this helps...I am soooo sorry, I have had this happen and the sick feeling in your stomach is awful...I bet you find him..Mine was gone for 3 days....GOT HIM BACK...he was found wandering through a subdivision..........PLEASE LET US KNOW.....Alda

One other thing...post at the local convenience story and local schools. Kids have a tendancy to "take an animal, especially one that is older, in." They are probably looking for you like you are for them....I have great faith your dog is in goods hands and you WILL find him.

Call your local pound and humane associations. Also, put up some flyers around your home at the local gas station and local grocery store. Hope this helps a little - good luck and I hope you find your dog.

I understand how you feel, im sorry, sure hope you get the dog back ok. Have you tried going to the pet stores, listing the problem with them, on there boards, which are usually on a wall next to the entrance door, or list it at different vets offices, even at reg stores, have you tried calling the dog pound? Maybe they will post it on their wall for you. I truly hope this advice helps getting your dog back.

Try looking in at all of your local pet shelters and humane societies and vet clinics. A lot of times when people find a lost pet they will drop them off at one of these places. Give them a call and describe your dog and when he was lost and see if they might have him! GOOD LUCK and I pray you find your dog!!
