Why don't you get her a nice vintage one instead. I collect compacts and have quite a few old ones that i have picked up from flea markets and car boot sales for a couple of pound. If you want good quality look in antique shops for stratton compact they are the best. If not try e-bay they have a lot of Stratton compacts on there.Hope you get what your looking for as a compact make a lovely gift.

Any chemist would sell them, boots, Lloyd's pharmacy, if you want a nicer one try a jewellers or maybe even Argos!
