If I were you, I'd go back to school and finish up your diploma, that way you have time to think about what you really want to do in life. You can go to your school counselor and ask them to help find something that interest you a lot and that you can make a career out of. They will help you towards your goal and keep you motivated.

It is really hard once you have dropped out and are doing nothing to feel motivated. Start with small steps which you can achieve, rather than one far distant goal. Now is not the time to go back to school, you need to do that at the beginning of the year. So what could you do in the mean time? Why not do some voluntary work? Choose something you would enjoy, helping children with sport, visiting old people, doing work outside in a park etc. Commit yourself to 6 weeks and go every week, don't take on too much, then if you enjoy it commit yourself for longer. If you don't enjoy it then try something else. Also take on doing something in the house, may be the washing up or cleaning the bathroom. Do it every week. These things will help you when you go back to school because you will be used to getting up and doing things regularly. Good Luck.

Okay, I'm going to answer your question. But I think you know the answer here already. Listen to your own mind. You are just in need of a little guidance here, and I'm older and have been through much in life and maybe I can help you if you choose to take my advice. You need to finish high school. You can go back to school. You can go back today, if you want to. Without an education, you will have none of the advantages in life that you are going to have WITH an education. You will not have a good job, you will not earn a good living. You will have a terrible life, searching for the next job to get you through. You will be okay if you just get back to school. Before it's too late...because your future is worth working at. You are worth more than you know. See one of your guidance couselors. They will help you. For real.

you only stated your mom stated she used to stroll 2 hours to college, then you stated she had transport. What it boils all the way down to is seem on the vibrant part! you will get large workout, that's certainly underestimated, extra clever sleep at night using fact of it, and extra clever grades at school in view which you acquire extra clever sleep at night.

The less you do, the less you want to do...it's human nature. No coddling here...get off your butt and contribute to SOMETHING. If you feel depressed, then get help.
