Name of childrens' book???

a bear found at an airport, taken home by a little kid, kid looses it and another little kid finds it.. if you know what it's called thanks!!!

Paddington Bear was lost at a train station. Sorry, I don't know about an airport. Maybe your local children's librarian?

It does sound familiar...but all I'm turning up are teddy bears that are lost in other locations. If you're certain it was an airport, can you remember anything else about the plot that may help me locate it? Names of characters, when you read it, whether or not it's an American book (if you know), etc.
