u have 2 request there permission 2 be on there list they either allow or deny if they deny u won't be aqble to se them until they allow , u can go 2 msn block checker type in there e maqil addy to see if they online and have u blocked or declined

By adding them to your contact list it should of sent the other person a message asking if that person wanted to add you to theirs. If they said no to that then you wouldn't get added to there list unless they did it manually.

You need to be listed on both sides as contacts. Invite him to be yours or ask him to invite you.
