There should be a significant difference going from 1 gig to 2 gigs. I don't know of many games that support >2 gigs. Battlefield 2 is one of the most memory intensive games I know, and when I upgraded from 1 gig to 2 . . it was a night and day difference.

Difference will be ok if you have a good video card. But from what I see on your card you will only have two gigs because you only have two slots. I hope I am wrong so you did not waste money.
Anyway if you are a big gamer then you will want at least a 512MB video card.

Depends if it's a 32bit or 64bit system...You see a 32bit processor can only use 2 gbs of memory where as the 64bit processor can use 4 gbs...Understand?
So if you have a 32 bit system it will only use 2gbs of memory even it you have 3-4 installed.
That along with what the other said about a 3rd party Graphics processor (Vidcard) If you have a cheap one it will only do so well and only use so much...Having a GOOD Videocard with lots of onboard Memory makes a world of difference in playing todays games...

Depends what graphics card you have.. The 3GB of RAM is far more than enough for any game you wish to play.. Just get a video card that matches it.

It depends on the game - you probably won't notice a lot of difference though.

That's a lot of cash to lay out before knowing whether or not you will get any gain.

Good luck!

for ram you would not have a problem but you need to look into what you have for video graphics
what video card do you have and how much MB do you have for video

Not if you have a crappy GPU/graphics card.
