Vikings versus Ninjas?

Question

I asked before about Pirates versus Vikings, ans the conclusion is that Vikings would win. Now who do you think would win in a fight between Vikings and Ninjas? (In an equal battle, not a ninja sneaking up on a Viking taking a leak or something. I do awknowledge that sneakery is part of Ninja fighting however).

Please include feasible scenearios explaining your choice (doesn't have to be incredibly long).

first offf, the second answerer is wrong about vikings being stupid and bloodthirsty. they were ingenious strategist and were also some of the greatest swordsmiths of all time! before they went into battle, they would psychologically work themselves into a trance-like mental state often with the help of psychodelic mushrooms. in this state they were for the most part unaffected by wounds and there are many stories of viking berserkers fighting even after being impaled by spears and arrows. plus they wore armor. a star would stand no chance against a suit of chain maille. and a ninja sword would have trouble with a shield, maybe even shatter after hitting one.

Ninja

a ninja coming at a viking head on would try something sneaky, like shooting him with a dart, or throwing a smoke bomb and going around him, but the viking, being stupid and bloodthirsty would charge him head on and go for crushing blows instead of precise attacks at strategic positions.

a ninja would have a sword made from the finest minerals available to him. and the sword is going to be valued and special to him because it is HIS sword. the viking however, would doubtlessly be using an axe or longsword mass-produced by his village due to his tendancy to break all the other weapons he uses. this would decrease attunement to his weapon thus making him less sure of his swings and blows.

the lightweight, but very effective armor of a ninja would be almost, if not harder than the armor worn by the viking because that, like his weapon, was, ina ll probability, mass-produced in the same shoddy style as his axe. so the protection is increased for the ninja.

the agility and grace a ninja posseses comes from years of practice and makes him able to leap and lunge about without having to bat an eye or sweat a bead. the viking, however, doubtlessly has not trained for this event neither mentally nor physically and is overweight due to bad eating habits.

Diet, mental strength, and leadership capabilities are all other qualities that the ninja triumphs over the viking in, but I won't go into that now.

That frenzied state is called berserk. It destroyed your logical thinking, but makes you unable to feel pain while giving you huge reserves of strength. Ninja however fight with their brain, not their brawn. A simple knife to the neck is as effective as cleaving someone in half, but less effort is used. Once again brute strenght is second to skill, and more importantly, speed.

So a head to head fight would run like this, first the viking would work himself into a blood-fury, then the cool fight music would Begin. Being at a lack of brains due to his fury he would charge straight for the ninja, and bring his sword straight down onto him. The ninja, having the superior speed would dodge to the left past the viking, hamstringing him in the process. Being in a rage eliminates the pain, but no hamstring means no left leg movement. such a fight pattern would continue leaving the viking tendon less and the ninja would calmly finish him in an honorable manner.

head on the ninjas could smoke the battle field with gas even choking gas and with stars and other throwing weapons like javelins mow down quite a few opponents before coming to blows however the vikings did use bows also and throwing knives and axes hmm id bet the vikings but they may have trouble operating their ship after the men lost to the ninjas

well the vikings have been a war thriving clan ever since the beggining. the ninja though are most known as assassins not as front line troops. none of the "sneakiness" of the ninjas would matter on the battle field. they would most likely lose to the vikings.

The Vikings should win every day due to their superiority in armor and offencive weapons (swords and axes are far better in close combat that daggers)
