Prenatal vitamins shouldn't interfere with your health if you're not pregnant. The worst thing I could see happening is that the high level of vitamins would be more than the recommended daily allowance. In that case, most of the extra vitamins will just be flushed out of your system in your urine.
I would recommend just taking a multi-vitamin for women instead of prenatal vitamins. They're guaranteed to be safe and they will maintain your health very well.
Whatever you do, please don't listen to Let's Go Muddin.

First of all ignore the answer about abortion. By the time you have all the great side effects you've gone through hell and back. I didn't get the fun stuff till i was 6 months pregnant and by then there is definitely a life inside you. It's a good idea for any women that may become pregnant even if they are not planning it to take the prenatal vitamins. My doctor said they were great for any women of child bearing age.

I wouldn't take prenatal vitamins unless needed. Just get a multi-vitamin made for women. There are so many out there. Centrum makes one call One-a-Day for Women. Each bottle has a 90 day supply.
