My doctor didn't give me a list....all he did was ask if I was eating my vegetables and protein. I drink tea occasionally and have a can of soda once a day. I think it's okay as long as you don't overdo it and drink alot of water in-between.

Since we live in an urban area with buildings of various ages, the doctor told me to not drink tap water, especially in the first trimester as there could be some lead or other trace minerals from the pipes.
Besides that, it was list as published by the FDA.

limit your caffine. but you don't have to totally ban it from your diet. there are studies that go either way.
just like fish.
i was always told not to eat too much fish because of mercury content...then 3 weeks ago i read in a health journal that the probablity of mercury in fish harming a fetus is very low and that the benifits of the omega 3 fatty acids outweigh the risk!

coffee and teas are fine. just dont go crazy with it. you need to make sure that more water is going in than just other things like coffee, soft drinks ect.

My doctor said there have been studies saying its bad and some saying okay, and it was my choice which to believe. The only thing I was told not to eat were certain types of fish, but I don't eat fish so it didn't matter.
