my daughter is nearly 6 and going to a party next weekend. i've just bought her a long top with a thick belt around it with leggings set. cause "everyones" got them these days. but do i still put a skirt on even with one of those long tops? i know you can wear a skirt with he leggngs underneath but not sure weather or not you have to with the long style top?
so any "up to the minute" fashion wise people could help me.

That would be cute if she wear the top with the leggings, and maybe some of those flat ballerina shoes people is wearing with leggings.

No, you don't wanna put a skirt underneath, you should put some shorts on underneath it since she's only 6 and chance are she's gonna be jumpin and runnin around. Make sure the shorts are shorter than the dress =)

no i dont think she should wear a skirt under...a long top and leggings is fine...if she wears a skirt under, itd have to be short and then probably wouldnt even show or just abit. and if she wears a long skirt, itll be long shirt with long skirt which wont look nice at all..so long shirt with the thic belt and leggins sounds cute...hope i helped!

if the shirt is long enough to be a dress and looks like dress it is fine - if not however i reccommend the skirt - if you are not sure err on the side of caution and add a cute skirt like a jean skirt

1 yur daughter is only 6 and so no one is really going to care what shes wearing and 2 if the colours match then i guess it wud look ok but she's still only 6

for clohe that became somewhat uncalled for nicely i think of I actual have a large style of expeirence in this section becaus eim pentcostal holiness and that i basically placed on skirts under the knee yet please dont placed on leggings with a skirt under the knee in case you like towear leggings using fact its chilly i might recommend tights ,knee highs or thigh highs desire i helped:)

i would definitly have her wearing something, whether it be a skirt or jeans or a nice pair of pants. If she doesn't wear anything underneath, I think a lot of parents would have comments for you

Does pure opinion count? I would have your daughter wear one, but not too long. Mid length should get it--you don't want her overdressed.
