I would go down to your local Social Services/welfare office and observe the people there that did not study. It is really good motivation.

I am not between the ages of 14 and 17 and I do not wish to chat but I have more experience than someone between those ages would. I read in a book that if you use fun notebooks and pens that it would help revive your passion to do homework. The better you do in school... the more money you could potentially make when you get out... Just know that your life right now..should be based on NOTHING but school and things to better yourself... Anything else doesn't matter and I know that you think I am full of it but you will remember me in a few years and know that you should've listened. Your friends won't be around... more than likely... your boyfriend won't be the same boyfriend... you won't have the same car... you just need to focus on bettering yourself... And keep that in mind when you do studying.... The harder you study... the easier life will be... So if you start to give up just know that you are making everything more difficult...

Chris Farley was a great "Do well in school Motivator"

Just remember - he lived in a van, down by the RIVER!

Seriously, if you want to revive your interest in a subject, study the subject OUTSIDE of what is assigned by your teacher. That's to say, if you have specific questions regarding the civil war - find out more information about it than your teacher is asking. Make it interresting.
