He needs to see the doctor and get this checked out. Many times there is a medical cause for snoring so he needs to see his doctor first. If the doc doesn't find a medical cause for it like sleep apnea or something else then the doc will be able to tell him what to do for his snoring. Call and make an appointment for you husband now.

a person can snore for three reasons :
1- if he has some problems in his nose some pieces can be on the nose & they can be cured through an operation
2- if the pillow is not good or his head in a bad position on it
3- the last one is exception & it can happen to everybody is when u spend a very exhaustive day & we do & a physcial or mental efforts we snore at night
solution : take a bett made in leather or tissue and put a small ball on it then turn it around him by leaving the ball in the center of his back. it helps him not to sleep on his backtherfore he will never snoor again
i hope i did answer question & good luck

He needs to talk to his doctor about having a sleep study done. He'll need a referral. They send him to a clinic at night. They hook him up to machines and it records data while he sleeps. (There are technicians watching the machines at night. He wouldn't be alone.) It's very common. Then they will know why he snores, what is causing it and how to treat it.

Try losing some weight to decrease the airway obstruction
He should sleep on the side-use a comforter or something to prevent him from sleeping on the back or rolling from side to side as this is when the airway is obstructed to cause snoring

I have heard that placing a small golf ball underneath him while she sleeps helps him to stop snoring, because it causes him to reposition himself and thus changing the way he intakes air. Of course this might also cause him to have back problems, so I would just go with a little elbow push from night to night instead of using the golf ball.

Nothing you can do other than terminate his existence.
If you don't wish to go for something that final and dramatic, you will have to sleep in different rooms.
Sorry.
