"The president of the leading Southern Baptist seminary has incurred sharp attacks from both the left and right by suggesting that a biological basis for homosexuality may be proven, and that prenatal treatment to reverse gay orientation would be biblically justified."

My thoughts are that if God didn't want there to be gay people, there wouldn't be gay people. Since in the bible is speaks that we are made in God's image, shouldn't they wonder why we ALL look and are totally different...

Plus he's a quack and just wants attention so people will come to his hater church and they can bash gays. Probably to divert attention from something else wrong that he's doing.

I think that the hypocrisy of people like this is summed up nicely in this paragraph cut and pasted from that article:

"What bothers me is the hypocrisy," she said. "In one breath, they say the sanctity of an unborn life is unconditional, and in the next breath, it's OK to perform medical treatments on them because of their own moral convictions, not because there's anything wrong with the child."

I can respect the people more who deny that homosexuality is genetic in any way long before people like this. At least THEY are consistent!

Wow can we say "playing God"? That's very funny, because if a biological basis can be proven, then it is not a choice, is it? Also, God created all living things, and if someone is biologically born gay, then God created gays as well. Hmm.. This guy may be more of a help than a hindrance.

My thought is we could use the technology to select more accepting loving people who accept God's creations as he made them and not how they want them to be... to select peaceful people NOT full of hate.

ask him to show you the passage in the bible that says "love thy neighbor, unless he's gay" ( or black, or catholic, or Asian, or Buddhist, etc.)
there is one however that says "judge not, lest ye be judged."
