Way before THE WALTONS or THE HOMECOMING?

There was a T.V. movie about a mt family that the mother was dying and the oldest son was trying to find homes for his siblings, there was a set of twins they did not want to separate,I am sure RICHARD THOMAS was in it also the girl that played MARY ELLEN.If anyone can answer this you are smarter than google or ask jeves.I know I seen this movie and no it was not SPENCERS MT OR THE HOMECOMING.Thank you.HELEN IN ALTOONA PA

There was a movie called All Mine to Give that sounds very similar.......
Richard Thomas and Judy Norton-Taylor aren't in it, but Ellen Corby who played the Granmother is.

I believe you are talking about the movie " All Mine To Give". Richard Thomas wasn't in it. It starred Glynnis St John as the mother. It's an old movie. I'm not positive about the title but I know the movie you're talking about. I saw it a very long time ago.

This sounds familiar to me, but are you quite sure Richard Thomas was in it, because it is not included in his list of things he was in.
