Car accidents are the scariest thing ever. I've been in two, and I was scared to drive or ride in a car for months after them. Sorry you had to go through that.

I was in one with a friend. After he hit a light pole with his mom's car, he panicked and tried to drive away. The car tried to move, but couldn't. The entire passenger side was flattened. I spent two minutes with my head between after I looked out the window and saw the damage. It looked like I was crying, but that was the hardest I have ever laughed.

Seriously, yes. My one and only was 22 years ago when I was meeting my mother and father-in laws for the first time. 10 second before pulling into their driveway, I was broad-sided. It was scarey, but a memorable first impression.

Hope you're ok. Yes I have been in three car accidents and they all scared the life out of me. I wasn't driving in any of them but now I find it hard to relax as a passenger, much to my husbands amusement.

Yes, and some people think " wow I'm a good driver, it'll never happen to me." I had a woman hit me who went into a seizure on a beautiful sunny day. It broke my back in several places and i was in the hospital over a year. By the way, I was a driver as employment 26 years, before it happened. Happy to live each day smiling.

Actually yes.

In my younger years I had AC/DC playing loud on the car stereo.

Was crossing train tracks ( no crossing arms or blinkers ) Only to realize a train was coming and only a few feet away. I tried to "floor it " but train hit the back end of the car and spun me around like my car was just a toy!

i was in a bad one with my dad like 15 years ago. the tree we hit still has a huge bark missing spot. then when i was 16 i flipped a truck on it's side. it was crazy! i get into little accidents all the time but never cause damage. at least enough to report!

Accidents are very traumatic at times, especially when there's a fatality involved. I was unfortunate to have that happen to me (not the fatality part though). Glad to hear you're OK.
