first of all~ is it going to be a large party or small. you can either hook up with a club promoter at one of the hollywood clubs and head out there. or if its a small party~ try getting reservations at a local restaurant (old town pasadena has great restaurants like twin palms, or downtown los angeles has palms (similar name, totally different ambiance) both places, the food / ambiance / service is great. after dinner, maybe head out to a bar close by, old town has a lot of bar, as well as downtown or korea town (which is literally like 10 minutes away). good luck ;p and happy bday

Breakfast is always overlooked too!!

The Food Network rated this place best breakfast slap jacks or something like that. The french toast is amazing, and everything is amazing! It's an amazing place!! Try it out, you won't be disappointed! It's called The Griddle on Sunset Blvd., all the locals know about it, or at least they should!!

You can go to the Mayan it's a nightclub in downtown L.A. it gets really good.

You can go to korea town and get one of those karaoke rooms - it fits 2 - 10 people, and you get your own private room to croon in.

how about a play, musical, or opera in downtown L.A. and there are a lot of good restaurants in the area too
