I have written songs but i need funding for the recording and release of the album. The album is about my country which will soon hold its elections in a months time. But it is not a campaign for any political party. It is just a message of sensitization to the people to make the right choice.I have songs that support the progress of my country, but i need funding to carry out this project. This is the first time i will have this kind of project and i don't know how to get finanacing for the album. Like who do i need to contact? Which organizations? How to contact them? How to convince them and make the project reality before the elections? Thank you.

Try going to a record company.....If they like what you have to say.....there is your funding

As far as I know short of sponsorship from major businesses or a recording deal there is no way to get money other than friends & family, I've been doing music a LONG time & have yet to get somebody else to fund a CD. Try playing live & use the money earned to produce the disc.

Have a fun raiser concert at your local church where people from your country congregate. If you find "this" church, the church would be your first connection to others who would be willing to help.

Try finding businesses run by people of your nationality to ask for sponsership.

you could do fundraising profects such as sending letters to bussinesses maybe politicans people who would be interested in this and explain why you are doing it
