My name is Janie and I live in Kentucky, I am a mom and a grandma, I am 46, my birthday is March 29th, so I will be 47, God I am almost 50, LOL. Now I would like to know if anyone wants to tell us about who you are? I tried to ask everyone unless they were just rude as heck, and that has to be bad if you know anything about me, LOL if they wanted to be on my network. I hope I didn't confuse, offend to badly, or leave anyone out. Has anyone looked at my 360, I know some of you all have and thanks. What is it that I could do that would make you the most happiest out there. I tried to write a poem, but then it was too long so I am putting it on the 360 and it is the second entry down. If it is not there when you look for it check back if you want to.

I may not be nice and friendly all the time or to all people all the time, but I am honest and I really try to be nice and I really try to be fair if I can be. I appreciate getting to know each and everyone of you all, and also happy birthday to who it goes out to, and hugs. This is a great place to be and to meet new and interesting people, perhaps that is what this is about at least partially. I guess that I am one that will go first and then get in trouble for it some times later, or go first and see how it works and sometimes it works out good like I think it has here. I will be trying to answer some of you alls questions in the coming up days and hopefully more will let us know who they are, that will be nice. Thanks.

Thanks for all the newer answers, to me each and every person is important, and I mean that, but I am going to have to find a way to ask some of the stuff that I heard last night at a meeting. I am not perfect either, but I am not dumb and neither are any of you! Don't let people make you feel that way, not ever. Right here is a forum to question it, because none of our questions are dumb, and neither are we. I am not sure that we have much good leadership at this time, just a bunch of laws that help those few that have; to have more, those that are able; to be more able, those in positions to help; to help less. I don't know what to do about it all by myself, but that is what I want to do, I want to do something about it so things can change in a better way. And I want to make friends too. What I heard last night would maybe blow some of your socks off. I will ask it in such a way that it can be answered fairly so that I can get myself a better grip on it too.

Hello Janie! My real name is Tammy. I have talked to a little before. We have a few things in common. I am 41 but also a grandma. to 4 with one on the way. Isn't it cool being a young grandma? I love it! Being a grandma is so much better than being a mom, don't you think? I live in Iowa. Not so bad except when the weather is crappy. Happy Birthday early. My youngest daughter's birthday is on the 31. She will be 15. Boy I hate teenagers. But out of all my kids she has been the best so far. Knock on wood. Good to meet you! Hope to hear from you more!

Hello, Janie! Nice to meet you! Also, thanks for asking me to be a part of your network. The first one who's ever done so!
My name is Dennis and I am originally from the Philippines, but I am now based in England with my wife and 1 daughter.
I'm 38 and works as a Community Mental Health Nurse.
I have worked as an Accident and Emergency / Casualty Nurse during the 1st Gulf War with the UN, and also a Lecturer / Professor in Anatomy and Physiology, Medical - Surgical Nursing, and Mental Health and Psychiatry.
I used to write a lot (poetry, songs, novels) when I was younger but I'm unable to do this now due to work and family activities ( I wouldn't call them pressures).
By the way, my dad's birthday is on March 30. He's going to be 81.
Great to meet you all!

Hi Janie,
Like you I have a real name. My name is lily. I am 38 and a single mom for two. I live in Ontario Canada.
I love alternative music. Becoming a single mom 5 years ago makes it hard for me to have other entertainments in life than here infront of this computer. I am usually told off implyingly by other answerers to move on with my life and stop wasting my time here at yahoo answers. This is my life, it requires no expenses(except for the internet fee), and I know that I am away from earthly temptations when I am home sitting infront of the computer. getting into relationship might not be possible for me again i have totally lost all my interest after some one guy played me around mentally via internet. it is ironic that I am hurt by this more than i am hurt from my 13-year marriage breakdown.
Anyway, i am pleased to meet you .

Hello, Janie..I'm Barbara and I live in southern NJ about 20 minutes from center city Philadelphia and about 45 minutes from Atlantic City - down here in the southern area, we are still the "Garden State"....lots of open spaces, farms, dairy and, of course, people.
I'm 66, birthday in December. I recently retired after 32 years in the travel industry as owner, manager and I was a Tour Director for many years managing tours and escorting groups of people all over the world. I had a wonderful career. Wouldn't have ever quit but the last 10 years I was employed by "the largest travel management company in the world" in their corporate travel department. Like many others, this "American" company outsourced all of our jobs to India, Manila, Mexico City, Eastern Europe, El Salvador and other places....this displaced about 4000 employees in the U.S. and almost 8000 worldwide.... So, I took retirement and so far, love it. I travel a lot......am always on the go somewhere.. Will travel until either I go broke or the body gives out...HA!!!
I enjoy your questions and your answers and your intelligent way of presenting yourself in words. Kinda rare on here sometimes.
Anyway...nice to meetcha.

I'm not quite sure what contacts and networking are all about. I'm just getting the hang of all this computer stuff. All my info is on my profile and my 360 page. Take a look. Leave a comment. I started all this when my son went to Iraq a couple of years ago. It turned out to be alot better than snail mail. Married 25 years. Grandpaw twice.

Hi Janie , nice question here I apprichiate that you take it personally. My name is Hanna, I live in Sweden and are sixteen years old. My birthday is unfortunately three days before new years day, so it's a bit complicated. I love poetry as well, it's one of my biggest interests - since I''m kinda emotional. Looking forward to see your poem.
Have a nice day !

Hello Janie ! You are like a breath of fresh air. I like the way you think. I am a grandparent too and I live in Texas.
Today is St. Paddy Day...so here is an Irish toast just for you.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings,
Slow to make enemies,
Quick to make friends.
But rich or poor, quick or slow,
May you know nothing
but happiness
From this day forward.
Slainte !
