I cannot stand him, he does not have any voice, charism, talent, personality. I do not understand why people still vote for him. Please explain this to me.

I voted for him.
He has a good voice,he is always in tune,and never off pitch.
He just needs to work on projecting his voice more and stage presence.
He also has a great smile and seems to be real sweet.

You can't blame votefortheworst.com for him being in the competition this long. They barely made Sanjaya their choice until the day after Sundance left wich was last week. If he even made it to the Top 24 is the retarted judges the show has. Simon may be the only semi good judge on the show. That he is on the Top 12 is only america's fault for voting for him. Not votefortheworst.com

They vote for the person and not the voice. Girls 14 and under probably sit at home dialling nonstop after the show because they think "he's just super".
The other half are people who think they themselves sing great and are tone deaf, so they don't know any better.

Ever hear of http://www.votefortheworst.com/? That could be the answer to your question. I'm irritated by it too. Two decent people now have lost the chance because of this crap. I feel a little sorry for him too. Every week they keep him around shocks everyone. He has to feel like shi* when he hears the audience gasp with shock that he's safe.
According to the web site, they want to keep him around to make it to the top 10 so he has to go on the Idol tour. They thinks it's funny.

I've been wondering how he's stuck around so long too. I wouldn't go as far to say that he cant sing and doesn't have talent tho. I think people see that he has potential and give him more credit b/c of his age. Also, maybe there's like thousands of 14 and 15 year old girls out there voting for him, I dunno.

Have you visited the vftw website? In my humble opinion its made up of the people who didn't get as far as Simon/Paula/Randy and they are borderline INSANE with jealousy/envy so they have to make EVERYBODY miserable because they're not even entertaining enough to be 1 of those who get through just for shock value to entertain us.

Saw on the news today that Howard Stern is asking his fans to vote for him, even though Stern knows he sucks. i guess it makes the show more interesting, I think its stupid cause the ones who lost to him were alot better than he was.

Chicken little was their choice last year.
Howard Stern is also promoting it and his fans are hardcore.

I agree, I don't think it has anything to do with talent (obviously) . I think the tweens really like him and they are the culprits.
