Do you save a portion of your salary / income for rainy day? Or do you spend it all and wait for the next paycheck? What do u do with your paycheck (what do you usually spend on)? Are you spending more than what you earn?

Too many questions, i know... :P

I think it's essential to save money unless you're living with your parents! My husband and I currently have enough in our savings account to pay one month's rent and one month's groceries. We're adding about 10-12% of our income into savings each month until we have three months of all expenses in savings. We expect that to take about a year. (We're also paying off our credit cards by the end of this month, and paying off our car early around the end of the year.)
