Standard electrical fences that are designed to shock cattle seem to have enough power to kill & cook snakes, if I remember my youth correctly.
These types of fences usually ran off of standard line voltage (110 VAC)

Why would you want to know this? Figure out what kind of snake you have and appreciate it for what it is and what it does for the local ecology. I'd personally rather have snakes around than rats.
And if you're asking because you're worried about a heat rock or something in your snake's tank, forget heat rocks, there's undertank heaters and heat lamps which are a lot safer for your snake than heat rocks anyway.

It takes both volts and amps.
Volts are how fast a propeller will turn.
Amps are how BIG a propeller you can turn.
You need both.
Why don't you just call animal control like a normal person?

Stop playing with batteries and go pull the legs off a spider. Just kill the snake if you're going to- don't torture the thing.
