The recommended time is 1 year after a c-section. But it really is okay to get preggo before then. My friend got preggo 4 months after her c-section. Her pregnancy is going great!! So you should be fine. Just call the doctor and make an appt.

And about the pills. You should be fine because you stopped taking them right away.

Good Luck!! Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

My wife had three c-sections, one for each of our daughters. After the first was born, we conceived 5 months later. After the second was brn, we waited a full 6 months before the next. For each one, the recovery time was quicker than the first one. The doctors monitored her a little more throughout the pregnancy, but she went through it all fine. Don't worry, both you and your future child should be ok. And congratulations on your future child.

I got pregnant 1 year and 1 week after my first c-section. I had no problems. My dr didn't say anything to me about waiting 2 years to get pregnant again. My son was born by c-section as well.

Who told you to wait 2 yrs after a c-section? That is not correct. Your body is back to normal much sooner than that. After my 3rd c-section, I got pregnant 13 months later and was fine. Don't worry and congratulations.

Actually the minimum is 2 years and you are much better if you wait 3.5. You may be fine going through this but it will be much harder on your body. I would contact the doctor ASAP.

actually my best friend got pregnant 7 mths after hers and she just had her Little boy last Tuesday, she was fine and so was the baby. Her doctor said they don't like to do c-sections so close because it's hard on your body
