I've been looking at iMac's for quite some time now.

And I have concluded that I do not need a Mac book.

So tell me if this iMac will be a good buy...

Apple® 17-inch iMac (MA590LL/A)
APL MA590LLA
• 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
• Burns DVDs and CDs
• 17-inch WXGA+ display • Wireless-G/Bluetooth
• 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM
• Built-in iSight camera

Is it fast enough, big enough screen all that stuff.

And will this suit my needs:

Music

Movies

Photos

Online Games

Editing

And all the other media stuff.

So all you Mac people out there this is your time to tell me

WHY and SHOULD I buy this Mac.

It sounds like a great computer. I think it would definatly suit your needs as long as you're not trying to edit LARGE scale NTSC format video............for that it's better to go with the towers with multiple procesors and all...............but I think you'll find it will suit your needs a lot better than any PC

You should buy that mac because you don't need any of the thousands upon thousands of software titles that you won't be able to run (at least natively) on your computer that are written for windows.
