Shoes are meant to protect our feet, but it goes way beyond this today.

It is no longer about comfort. We buy shoes because of the way they make us feel. I couldn't care less about the way they feel on my feet or the protection they give, but the way they make me feel on my feet is the real reason. Comfort Shomfort. Ha Ha!!! I know I won't feel this way when I am an old lady with problem feet.

I suppose it's the same as when it comes to clothes.

People in the stone age only wore animal skin or leaves? [i suppose... lol.] however, people these days dress in polked-dots, jackets, tube, baggy shirt, fitting clothes...

that's fashion. that's human evolution. that's fashion.

In the past, long long ago, people don't even wear shoes, but now, shoes not only serve as comfort, but also as a way to keep up with fashion. can't possibly expect people to wear slippers into the ballroom right?

So, shoes are not meant to just protect our feet, but to dress us up properly in the right attire at the right place and time =)

Most intriguing thing about certain shoes is the way it fits your feet, so people buy it.
