Why not I had mine 14 years M-F. It was a bit scary at first but I feel totally at ease and happier than I ever did before the op. The only problem I encountered was that I turned out to be lesbian as well. I dont believe in doing things by halves do I.Good luck for the future and I hope everything goes well for you. Dont forget though it can be a long hard road to travel down.

It's none of my business. You are the one who's got to come to terms with all of the angles involved before going through with it--even to start it...
For me personally, I couldn't do it. Even if I was in turmoil about my identity (in a way I am)... I use the Gnostic way of thinking. We came down here to Earth, and picked all the things about our physical bodies, and events in our lives. If I'm down here as a male, I musta chose it! Using that logic, it makes me appreciate what I have and using it to the best of my ability without going that far to change it.

it's really not my decision, but i do think you shouldn't be asking people for their opinions if you have already made the decision. Additionally, i think you should change the question, before some religious wackos began sending nasty messages to you.

i think that people who get "sex changes" are out of their minds. who in their right mind would want to hire a surgeon to mutilate them sexually and then take hormones so they can disguise themseves as, but not really be, the opposite sex.?

it doesn't matter what we think. what matters is that you are being true to yourself. if you honestly believe you were born the wrong sex, then go for it!

I went from women to men. It was a good change.
My penis and I are quite close actually. I could never part with it.
