I hurt him really bad...because I was stupid and took him for granted while we were together. I realize that now but it's probably too late. He told me last night that he didn't love me anymore...but I think he's just saying that cause he's trying move on and push his feelings aside. Because then 5 minutes later he goes "I still have feelings for you!"
But he says he could never date me again because he wouldn't be able to trust me. But I would never hurt him again if I was given another chance. I love this guy. I finally am in love with someone. Do you think he'll ever give me another chance?

He has to earn your trust before he would ever give you a second chance.Too bad you realized too late that you took him for granted.Hopefully in time he will give you that chance.
Of course he still has feelings for you........you can't just turn off your feelings like a tap even though you broke up with someone. It takes time to get rid of those feelings.
Take your time and try to gain back his trust.Hopefully you will have learned a good lesson......one you can use everyday......not to take people and those you love for granted.Treat others as you would treat yourself.

I think that you owe it to the guy to let him move on. Trust is a hard thing to regain and by the sound of it, you hurt him pretty bad. You hurt him bad enough that he doesn't know whether he wants to love you or not! You are probably right, he does want to push his feelings aside and move on. That's the easiest thing to do in a situation like this. However, he probably means it when he says he would never date you again because his lack of trust just runs too deep. Let him move on before you scar him so badly that it affects his future relationships. I know this sounds horrible, but if you really love him you will let this happen because it's best for him. Remember love is unconditional. Love lasts whether you're with the person or not.

The best thing for you to do is stop pushing him. You apparently broke your trust with him and only time will fix that.

Your best bet is to respect him enough to back off and try to rekindle a friendship and if it turns into something more later on then all the better for you. If not you have learned a valuable lesson and still have a wonderful friend.

Tell him how you feel. Ask him for another chance. If he can't give you that, you will find someone else. I'm sure of that. It is hard to let go, but you learn with each relationship, and you will find the perfect one eventually.

Difficult situation here for you, perhaps if you carried on doing something else for a while he may notice you are truly sorry & give you some leeway but don`t bank on it take your time & try & make amends for whatever has happened.

give him time, it might happen...but it might not.
it could also take a while

I got with a guy, totally took him for granted and then split. i realised i missed him and asked him to get back with me. we did...but then i got drunk at my birthday [which he couldnt make it to] and kissed his mate. we split again.
We remained friends but he said he could never date me again. That was 2 years ago. Were best mates now and he recently admitted to me he still loves me and always has done
unfortunatly i dont feel the same. but hey; it might happen to you.

but i stress, it may not. I dont want to give you false hope.
look for love somewhere else. just maintain a friendship with this guy.

yes he still loves you but the fact that you cheated on him or whatever the case may be has caused him to question you and your being in a realtionship and since he was heartbroken it may take him a while to take you back so just give him time

Did you listen to what he said?

He doesn't love you. He has feelings for you. But he doesn't want to be with you anymore.

Seems VERY clear to me.
