i have a 400 sb and a fast burn 350 trying to budget build would it be best to put 5.7 rods in 400?

the 5.7 liter has one piece seal the 400 is two.and what do i need to do for pistons

It would take to long to answer especially for 10 points that don't buy nothing.

Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance

They also have a Haynes manual on rebuilding engines which you can buy and they will answer your question. Personally, I would stick with the 350. In the long run parts are cheaper.
