Can stress bring on Braxton-Hicks? I am only 21 weeks ( but with 6th baby) and just did our taxes. I was really stressed out and am now having some pretty intense BH. What do you think? Stress related?

Well I know stress can cause early labor if they don't go away I would go see your doctor, drink a lot of water and prop your feet up

I know first hand that stress brings on preterm labor. I thought all along I was having braxton hicks but it was actually real contractions. I was and still am going through an extremely stress filled time. So I would go to be put on the monitors if I were you!! Just to be sure.

braxton hicks can happen at anytime in any mood. So I'd say sure, doing your taxes set off braxton hicks, next time you have a fight with your husband tense up your stomach muscles and blame it on him. LoL.
