My grandfather have always tougth to all of his family so much things for our life, and we are a lot.

But what i remember the most is that there is a saying in Mexico that says: "The life belongs to the audacious"
( "La vida es de los audaces" )

But he always says that it have changed and now we should say: "The life belongs to those who get educated and prepared" ( "La vida es de los que se preparan")

That have always make us so concious about how much our efforts to learn all we can, and always try to know more is what will make us have an enjoyable and good life.

He've said so since i remember, wich is a long time, and he was not that wrong, since now what's more valuated is information, rigth?

NEVER lie to yourself.

It might seem silly - but most people delude themselves into thinking things that deep down they know different.

Classic examples :

"Things will get better" - and then do nothing to MAKE them get better.

"He loves me really" - after he has just battered the crap out of you

"We'll win the lottery one day" - yes after has has frozen over. It *might* happen but if you want your dreams to come true, you might need to put some effort in.

"I'd best squeeze myself into this dress 4 sizes to small so I know I can still wear a size 12" - No, you look even fatter than you would if wore a well fitting size 16

Know yourself and don't lie to yourself.

Actually I have two "bests":
To take care of my marriage and my child will be fine.
You need to put God first, you spouse second then your children.

Treat other's, like the way you like to be treated.

Keep your friend's close, but your enemies closer.
