I slept on my stomach til I was 6 months (of course I had a waterbed). Your baby will be fine as long as it is comfortable for you. If you start to feel the "bump" you should try a different position.

It may not harm your baby now at 13 weeks along. But it will in a few weeks. You should start sleeping on your left side so you can get used to it.

Right now it won't...I did the same thing when I was pregnant...I slept on my stomach till I was able to...until my stomach started getting bigger and I could no longer do that. It might be a good idea though to start training yourself to sleep on your side as you will eventually have to do this. For now you can do 50/50...50% on your tummy and 50% on your side...as you train yourself to get used to a new sleeping position. Make yourself as comfortable as possible...as you get bigger...it will be harder to keep comfortable while sleeping.

At 10wks this is probably only the bloating that's making you uncomfortable. Your uterus continues to be properly down on your pelvis and guarded. try laying on your edge, bend the suitable leg and lean forward at the same time as propping your knee with a pillow. It only places you 0.5 way on your abdomen. i become able to sleep like that one and all the thank you to the top. returned snoozing is the only risky thank you to sleep. Your physique won't aid you sleep in a manner that's risky using fact it will be uncomfortable. on a similar time as quickly as I rolled to my returned i might wake on the instant and circulate.

Not at 13 weeks. As you get bigger though, you will find that making a "nest" of pillows so you can let you belly rest between them helps alot. I am a stomach-sleeper and this always helped with my pregnancies.

No, it is fine. You will know when it isn't safe anymore because it will become uncomfortable for you. I just got to the point where it hurt to even try so, i just had to get a million pillows and surround myself. It seems to help since I miss sleeping on my stomach so much, but my husband doesn't like it so much. :)

Very soon you won't be able to lay on your stomach so you should get used to laying on your side now.
