How can I ensure that my sim is pregnant with 10 children?

My sim wants 10 children, I have gotten her pregnant 4 times but she only gives birth to one child at a time :(
she is even living alone in her house. I have the social workers take the baby away each time so i can try again. I really want to see what it's like to have 10 children, plz help!

In order to fulfill that Want, your sim will have to have 10 children in her lifetime. I'm not sure if the children count toward this Want if they are taken away by the social worker, though. Note that you cannot have more than two children at a time.

However, there are steps that you can take if you want to have a family with 10 children.

***Step 1***
Turn aging off on your lot. To do this, follow these steps:

* Open the cheat console by pressing [Cntrl]+[Shft]+C
* Type "aging off" (without the quotes)
* Press [Enter]
** Just type "aging on" (without the quotes) to reverse this cheat

This will allow your children to remain babies, and keep your mommy sim the same age (making it easier to fulfill the Want).

***Step 2*** (requires Open for Business)
Try to have as many twins as possible. If you have the Open for Business expansion pack, you can feed your pregnant sim cheesecake to increase the likelihood of a twin birth. There is still a chance of a singleton birth, however. If you want to ensure a twin birth, use the following cheat (also requires Open for Business):

* Make your pregnant sim the active character
* Open the cheat console by pressing [Cntrl]+[Shft]+C
* Type "Forcetwins" (without the quotes)
* Press [Enter]

When the pregnant sim gives birth, there will be twins.

***Step 3*** (Breaking the Family Size Limit)
The maximum number of sims that can normally be in a family is 8 (12 if you count pets). If you have 8 sims in your household, your sims cannot get pregnant. However, there are two ways to increase your family beyond eight members: a boolProp cheat and the InSimInator mod.

**boolProp Cheat**
* Open the cheat console by pressing [Cntrl]+[Shft]+C
* Type "boolProp Testingcheatsenabled true" (without the quotes)
* Press [Enter]
** NOTE: Just type "boolProp Testingcheatsenabled false" (without the quotes) to turn the cheat off.
* Hold down [Shft] and click on the active sim. A menu will appear
* On that menu click "Spawn..." then click "Tombstone of L and D" and a tombstone will appear near the active sim
* Click on the "Get pregnant with.." option on the Tombstone, which allows you to allow any female sim on your lot to get pregnant

NOTE: There is also an option on the Tombstone that can speed up a pregnancy. Also, be careful what options you select (other than the ones mentioned, of course), as some of the options can ruin your game save or cause your game to crash to desktop.

**InSimInator Mod**
This mod (see my sources) allows you to make any sim on your lot to become pregnant. This is the only way to increase your family size beyond eight if you don't want to use the boolProp cheat.

NOTE: You will have to register for a free User Account to download the mod.

***General Notes***

Keep in mind that the more sims you have living on a lot, the more chance there is of lagging. The severity of the lag depends on your system specs.

Increasing your family size beyond eight can also effect your home business (though this only affects you if you have the Open for Business expansion pack installed). If your computer starts to lag because of the number of sims, your home business will not allow you to have many customers. For example, on a good computer, if your Business Rank is at level 10, that means you can have a maximum of 10 customers on a lot. But if your computer lags and your sim's business is at a 10, you will get maybe 3 or 4 customers. So don't raise the number of family members too high if you are running (or plan to run) a home business.

your Sim's can not have ten children a one time . but they can have twins. the best thing to do is turn the aging off and keep getting the Sim pregnant.

Download Sim PE. It's an alpha version, so there may be flaews. But I've used this program to alter everything from what grades my kids are getting, who my Sims are friends with, their interests, and skills, etc.

You could try adopting too - you can do this over the phone, though you need to be rich enough, and if the social workers are taking away your kids they probably won't allow it.
