on a flat lawn with regular mows (smaller clippings) and a 3-bag collection unit, its approx., 40 mins. Another 15 mins to extract teh clippings and through them away and for quick cleanup of the mower.

That really is going to depend on the size of your riding lawnmower deck and how fast your lawnmower will cut. Many of the zero turn radius mowers will cut a lot faster than the tractor style of lawnmower will.

Just try to imagine how long it would take you to cut a football field with your riding mower. A football field is about right at an acre in size.

Also, that will depend on the number of things you have to mow around. If you are mowing an acre of cemetary with a bunch of above ground tombstones it could take hours. That's why many cemetaries don't allow above ground tombstones anymore, they have to be level with the ground so it makes the mowing easier.

It depends on the size of the mowing deck, the speed of travel, and the number of obstacles that must be mowed around, whether or not the acre is level, rutted, soggy....It should take about an hour under ideal conditions, but add more time for mowing problem areas.

It should take an hour-hour and a half. It depends on how many obsticals you have. I've got a bit of an orchard, so it takes a little longer to weave in and out of the trees.

you have some good answers here.but another good point is to always cut your grass to about 3 inches and keep the mower blades sharp.you can do a lot of damage to your lawn if you cut it to short with a dull blade..

it really depends on the width of cut that your mower has. with one of those high-speed commercial jobs, with the 52" mower deck, you could be done in a half hour.

You should be able to do it in 2 or 3 hours. That's assuming you don't have a lot of tree's or plants to interfere.
