I absolutely love the Rolling Stones, I think their back catalogue is amazing, and they have had a huuuuuuge influence on music... but how long are they going to keep this huge moneyspinning juggernaut on the road? They're still fantastic musically, but for god's sake Mick, go home and put your feet up now that you're an OAP.

Yes, I know they ''retired'' at the end of their last tour... but they always say that, and 5 years later, off we go again.

I'd rather not see them die on stage, thanks. I wouldn't mind if it was new stuff... but it's always the same old, same old. Shame on you too!

Trouble is they know (and so does everyone who buys tickets to their gigs) that they are still up there with the best.

Why,they're happy doing it and obviously by their sell out crowds, fans are more than prepared to watch them. They're entertainers, just like Sinatra,Pavarotti and others. The reason some want them to retire is that they put the junk of todays music to shame

Strolling Bones....LOL! I agree that they are one of THE premier bands in music history but even the best and brightest can overstay their welcome. It's kinda like seeing a really great movie, but once you know the plot and you see it play out over and over, it loses it's original oomph.

You don`t mean that if they enjoy what they do then rock on
the world would be a duller place without their likes.
