When i took my ACT test in November it had a question about a monominator. it is a math term but i cant find it anywhere else

you have heard of denominator,yes.
so,monominator could be from there. instead of having a denominator,something that could divide another,maybe a monominator would be something that could group things together or 'something a group of things have in common!

Could you mean nominator?
