Hi last nite i went to stop at a stop sign an i hit the brake pedal and it went all the way to the floor an barely stopped. i almost went into traffic. theyve felt fine up until then last night, and i have no idea what it could be. i put more brake fluid in it an it still did it. so i had to leave my car at a gas station. but as me and my grandma were leavin the gas statoin last night i noticed a puddle that was under my rear right tire. so i got out an looked under an it looked like it was leaking down from around where my brakes were. i drive a 1989 toyota camry. please help

Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance
http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/13/f9/f6/0900823d8013f9f6.jsp
Now here is the URL for the Auto Zone on what the brake wheel cylinder looks like. Browse thru the other brake sections to familiarize yourself with this. One thing though. Buy the manual. You will find you can change your brakes yourself and save some money. That is if you know how to read. I noticed that you might be lucky and have rear disc brakes. Now those are easy. Then if you have pads, then basically you jack the car up take off both tires and drums. Then you take off ONE brake pad at a time. That way when you get lost you can look at the other one on how to put it back together. Then you do enough then you can be like me. Just take the parts off and figure out how they go on. That is if you want to do a brake job, then also get the rotors or drums turned. If you replace one cylinder I would replace the other side too when you get a chance.
You do not need no fancy brake tools either. Just a pair of pliers, a flat tip screw driver and a phillips screwdriver. The pliers are to pull the spring off the the screw drivers to slide the spring on.
Take your tire off where it has the lead and see if the wheel cylinder is leaking and that is easy to replace. Have fun. By the way buy the wheel cylinder NOT the kit. It is easier to replace the whole unit then try to rebuild one.
Anymore questions let me know. Answers are 25 cents each or 3 for a dollar. lol Just a joke now.

You probably need a new wheel cylinder for you right rear brake. Since everything will be apart I would change the rear brake shoes at this time. Put it back together and bleed the brake system.

I believe u answered your own question.....you've either drove over something and severed the brake lines under the car....if it happened all of a sudden.....or it's corroded. Sounds like you know something about cars. I'm not sure of prices to replace, but call a small shop as they won't charge u and arm and a leg like the dealership will.
God Bless You,
Daniel

Some how your vehicle is leaking brake fluid. You need to have a mechanic look at it to determine where. Your vehicle is NOT safe to drive like this either get it fixed where it is or get it towed to another garage.

sounds like you broke a brake line to the rear brakes, should be under $100 to fix if a mechanic does it.

you've got a leak on that side and even after putting fluid in it doesn't help b/c it has an air lock will be somewhat costly but not too much find someone that specializes in brakes

You might have something wrong behing your rear tire...you need to get that fixed. I had a similar issue though it hadn't gotten to where my brakes wouldn't work. Probably cost about $100 to fix.

Sounds like you've got a leaking hose, brake cylinder, or caliper.

You have a brake line leaking. They will need to be "bled" also. Have it towed to a pro.
