I want it to hold all the songs from all of my CD's.

Also, how long would it take for me to copy all my CD's to mp3's and transfer them to the iPod? I have about 70 CD's.

Don't get an iPod at ALL.

Creative has a product called 'Zen'

It is way way way way WAY better than an iPod. It had more features, holds a bigger variety of song formats, and doesn't cost NEARLY as much.

Plus, it's less likely to break or fall apart.

Id advise you to get a ZEN actually, i really want one, really cute, sleek and modern. Ipods (i own one) crash, break and are just funny little buggers. How many CDs do you own? ipods carry:
1GB= 205 songs
2GB= 500ish
4GB= 1000
10GB= 10,000 songs and a few videos i think
30GB plus= could fit thousands and thousands of songs on it
To transfer about 150 songs from limewire to the itunes library to put on the ipod it takes less than 10 minutes, depends how fast your comp is, i think the songs if you buy from itunes will transfer alot quicker.

The best ipod for you sounds like the video ipod
i have one and there great, its 30 G. but u could get a 80 G one.
It doesnt take long to copy them, if u get itunes it will automatically ask you if you want ur music files copied onto there.
Go for the best ipod there is, it may be a bit expensive but i think there so worth it, :D

Get the nano, you'll get better use out of it. The shuffle is best for children, since they probably won't download too many songs or files.
