To me, it felt like a muscle spasm, but on the inside.
I've heard it described as feeling like the wings of a butterfly that you have cupped in your hands, too.

Congrats!

When I first felt my daughter move, I was at about 18 weeks. I wasn't sure at first, but I was lying very still on the couch and it was quiet, and it felt like a tiny flutter. It will be at least another month before you feel very much. You might get the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting". My doctor gives one to every one of her patients and it has a lot of valuable information. Remember though; every woman and every pregnancy is different, and babies don't run on a timetable! Best wishes and good luck for a healthy baby!

If feels like someone thumping your tummy from the inside. Dont worry. If your scan was okay then so is baby, and when he/she does start moving you'll be so thrilled ( except when your trying to sleep and baby wont be still ). Good luck and stop worrying so much, its okay! :)

Why the misspelling? You obviously know how to spell WHAT so why misspell it in the heading? And why misspell like? I'm sorry, it just annoys me... Any way it can take up until 23 weeks for you to feel movement, perfectly normal.

It feels like a flutter at first. As you progress in your pregnancy, you will definitely feel it! It sometimes hurts or is uncomfortable...but if you had a scan and everything is fine then you shouldn't worry!
