Fishing boats in Alaska are always looking for help and pay great money. You don't spend all your day out at sea, but you do spend just about every day going out there. Be careful though, I have heard that the work is dangerous...but so is being in the navy.

If you like science there are several options. Studying either Marine Biology or Biology can allow you to work in marine environments either doing research or observation. Also some oil companies hire biologists to study the area they want to drill to see if their rig will interfere with wildlife. There are also several companies that do research to see if their products/processes interfer with wildlife patterns and life cycles.
