Congratulations!! Getting paid is always a good feeling :-)
I always save because unless I save I cant enjoy the money I spend. You may want to have a budget like - (all this is after paying the taxes and any debts)
5% - charity
20% - myself - clothes, going out, trips..(you can even save some every month to spend on expensive trips)
30% savings
45 % - other expenses like rent, grocessories, medicines

Well I just got paid and have not cashed the check yet. I still have like $90.00 cash in my pocket and also some cash in savings account. But I have been known to live check to check.

I love getting paid too! Currently I am living Paycheck to Paycheck but I am working to savings! It is just hard with a partime job and going to college full time!

I was, but my last job I actually saved money, paid off too cuz I got fired, and have been able to support myself for the past couple of months, but will have to get another job soon, cuz I am running out.

Check to check. I'm broke as a joke. I spend my money when I get it on having as much fun as possible. Why save when you could die any day? Have as much fun while you can!
