When you drink you begin to lose judgement practically from drink one. So if this is true how can we have drinking and driving laws? If you lose your judgement you are going to drive and endanger people. Do we need to have classes that let you learn what your limit is? THEN you can drink in public. Or should we just ban all public drinking all together.
Or should we ban alcohcol? (prohibition WAS a success as much as many of you will whine that it wasnt ... GOOGLE it.. it was successful.. )

Solution: if you have one drinking and driving episode you get a Lifetime loss of driving rights.
Second offense. Lifetime forced prescription of antabuse?
Third offense. Lifetime monitoring of blood alcohol levels.

Before you took a drink you had judgment - and that judgment should have been "I am about to drink therefore I need a ride home".

Impaired judgment only comes into effect before you commit the act - drinking and driving is a two phase action, and most people are not impaired prior to the first phase of drinking.

So is this a question or do we all just nod our heads in agreement?
