no i dont really think there is anything to it because it was just used by william shakespeare in the play julius caesar to warn him of people planning to kill him or of bad luck looming on the horizon. generally it is a term from the ancient roman calendar. the ides fell on the 15th day of march, may, july, or october or the 13th day of any other month. also the ides of march are celebrated every year by the rome hash house harriers with a toga run in the streets of rome in the same place where julius caesar. so i really dont think there is anything to it.

It has been said more people die in the month of March than any other time of year, so there may be some truth in this. Also, it was not good for Julius Caesar either.

Well, I ignored this and got married on March 15, 1986. Ten years later, I found out he'd been cheating on me....so I guess for me it's a real deal.... :>(

For Shakespeare's character there was. Besides that, nope. It was a foretelling to Caesar by an oracle.
