Do you agree this is true? Why or why not? If you don't have an extramarital affair, are you a moron?

Do you guys even READ the stuff in the further details? Did you READ the article? If I just wanted an answer to the question, without the context of the article, I wouldn't have referenced it!
And what's up with the "Burn in hell, Disney" comment? Grow up.

I don't think it is a question of their brilliance, that is causal in these men betraying their wives.
Because these men are brilliant their lives have been examined more closely.
If the article had more closely examined humans in every realm, and then come to that conclusion, I would likely give it more credence.
See this article:

I think it is more broad scoped in looking at humans and why they stray or 'betray'...

Men, brilliant or otherwise do not cheat, they honor the commitment they made to someone they consider lover and friend. However , It is not like women are being taken by force, I went to college with a woman who would only date married men and I understand that it is not uncommon for some women to seek out married men. Men, I think we can all agree are unintentionally stupid, especially when it comes to women.( I should know gentlemen, for I am your king.)but women intentionally seek out "bad boys" because they believe that the type of behavior that earned them this reputation is manly / sexy and they eventually end up rushing home from work to prepare a wonderful dinner for someone who sits on the couch and yells across the room " Hey, get me another beer" (doesn't sound very masculine to me) and then they wonder where everything went so wrong. Therefore I don't think we are entertaining a moral battle of the sexes, just a simple matter of supply and demand.

OK, article was too long, but I skimmed over it and I have often agreed that people (not only men) with high IQ need more stimulation than a person of average intelligence. They get bored easily. I'm not agreeing that it's right, because any person, even one with a super high IQ should still be able to be an honorable, ethical person, but somehow their impulses and desires are stronger for that adventure....

It is not that brilliant men always have affairs, it is that it is so much easier for them. Women will be attracted to the more powerfull men. A very powerful man, captain of the football team - publically acknowledged genius - etc, will have women throwing themselves at them. They don't have to work at it or spend much time at it. They come to him. Now if I can figure out how to make myself powerful...

I agree 75% because brilliant men can betray their wives. Because of sheer brilliance, they may be sneaky little bastards so they know how to cheat without getting caught.

Honestly, I don't think intellegance or talent has anything to do with it.... That's just the way men are. Most men will cheat at one point, that's their nature.. Their physical attractions make them cheat...
