I could not agree with you more! the other day my husband and I just happened to have the tv on when that show came on. We watched in disbelief and had to wonder what's keeping the show on the air! It's so stupid now, just stupid silly useless crap!

I totally agree. It is just annoying to me now. Not good at all. Even the musical guest usually suck.
Remember Gilda Radner, Eddie Murphy, and the Belushi guy? They were awesome. You are right about Chris Farley, David Spade, Adam Sandler. etc. they were fabulous comedians.
It will never be the same anymore. I dont even know why they continue to air that show.

I nevertheless relish the practice. Season opener grow to be no longer very stable yet think of that had extra to do with Michael no longer having stable comedic timing...or appearing skill in any respect. humorous you assert "whilst SNL had genuine actors..." All have been nobodies till now SNL. SNL is the reason you know them right this moment. they have a stable solid...would desire to drop that new guy Billy in spite of his call is ...only checked SNL's web page appears like they have already, he isn't indexed.

I agree. But I'll still turn it on occassionally if there is a good guest on. But these shows now don't compare to the days of Farley and Sandler and before them.

I don't watch SNL anymore. There was atime when it was the thing we watch during winter Saturday nights. SNL seriously needs to reinvent itself. I find plenty of competition from... PBS, for example. I'd rather watch reruns of Coupling, Are you being served?, Keeping up appearances etc., than SNL.

I watched until around 2004 - I made a point to watch one recently and turned it off after about 5 minutes - just was really not funny at all.

I only watch it if a cool band is gonna be on.
Recently, "Arcade Fire," were friggin awesome, especially after Win Butler tore out the strings and smashed his guitar in perfect timing to the end of their first performance. Wicked Wang.

im with ya, the show has taken a serious nose dive. not one of the new people on there are funny at all. one of the kids was on a show like that on the nickelodeon channel back in the 90's (i think his name is keenan) and his humor hasnt matured at all since then
