designing their album cover..? If you were to illustrate two sketches. You want to be lenient, but fair. And you probably have to put about 12 hours into it? What do ya think?

Depending on the what the album were for and if (like a
record album ) it were going to be used to make $$$ with.
Range Free - to 5K (I Do good stuff)

I wouldn't charge less than $10 per hour if I was starting out. If you are an experienced graphic artist, you should be aware of the rates. Make sure you don't undercharge!

I once charged $100 for just doing a preliminary mural design.

50$ to 100$--- a piece.
I think that is fair, just depends on WHO your client is. hope this helps!

What do you normally charge for your work? Go by that.
