Okay, I live in Nj area, I plan to drive down to Florida, and I will probably stop in the middle for lodging. Can any experience traveller which state I should stop and stay over. I know it is 16 hours drive. I want to split into half. And I would like to know what state to stop is worth it. If possible, please tell me the area, state. thanks

Use Yahoo Maps or Mapquest. Eyeball the map and pick a spot somewhere in the middle. Then focus in on a specific town or city around there and then map your location in New Jersey to that spot and you will see an approximate driving time. Using this approach of trial and error will get you to your answer. I do this all the time when traveling and facing the decision you are facing.
