he's gonna go off and hit at least 30 bombs in a loaded texas lineup.

Sammy is a good deal for the Rangers... he didn't cost too much and he has a chance to prove himself - if he can do what he did 3 seasons ago then the Rangers made a great move.. if not then they didn't really lose anything since they signed him as a free agent... and if he does make the team they have plenty of spots for him as they have a weak outfield and DH - also, Sammy is a good guy.. they loved him in Chicago and they'll love him in Texas

He has already signed. He will not impact the Rangers as much as Michael Young and Mark Texiera.

it's a tuogh call he has showed he can still be a decent player this spring i don't think he will ever hit 60 home runs anymore but in a ballpark like arlington if he is in the lineup everyday he might get 30

He'll keep a spot on the bench warm for the pitcher. Sammy is about done. I look for him to announce this is his final year by the All Star break.

He might still be a good bench player/spot starter, but I dont think he'll be able to contribute everyday without the HGH.

He will be a negative impact, just like he was in his last few years in Chicago. He is good for nothing now, and if he isnt producing just wait and see the injuries, and excuses come. Like throwing your back out sneezing

For the worse. When Sosa got off the roids he didn't do anything. He hit like 5 homers in two seasons. I don't he will make much of a difference.
