Pices might vary between corporate and franchise centers but you should expect to pay between $40-50 per hour in tuition. It's expensive, but it's worth it, in my opinion, and the center where I tutor works with the Sallie Mae Foundation to provide educational loans.

The math program is great. They test you first to see where your skill gaps are -- for example, if you're actually pretty good at math and just get confused by fractions and pre-algrebra stuff, that's all you'll do with the tutors. It's designed so that you're never doing lessons on anything that you already know how to do, never working on material that's too hard for you, and never being moved faster or slower than you're ready to go. Also, they do quick retention checks after mastery of each skill to make sure you really, really got it.

Yes. My daughter was struggling thru school and I enrolled her in sylvan, they diagnosed her problem and addressed the issue. She became an A and B student after that. Its expensive, but its your kids future
